SPARWOOD, BC - Whiskey Jack Resort, the ambitious 675 acre development nestled in the heart of the picturesque Elk Valley, rang in the New Year by initiating Phase 1 lot sales. The marquee attraction
of this multi-faceted 4-season resort is an 18-hole Fred Couples Signature golf course. Additionally, there will be 15 km of trails for hiking, biking or cross-country skiing woven through the development. Important amenities in the rustic-themed community planned by the much-honoured firm, Oberto Oberti Architecture and Urban Design,
Inc., include a Resort Centre with spa, exercise, and banquet facilities - plus a magnificent golf Clubhouse. The 119 generously sized lots in Phase 1 are priced from $130,000, with available sizes to over a halfacre. Over 2/3rds of the lots will line the golf course.

Noted professional golfer Fred Couples and his design partner Gene Bates - winner of “Best New Golf Course” awards for the past four years from Golf and Golf Digest magazines - have crafted a course that takes full advantage of Whiskey Jack’s natural surroundings. When completed, Whiskey Jack Resort will boast over 800 individual residences. They will include upscale single family dwellings, cabins, town homes and condominiums. The Resort Centre will also combine a hotel and upper living suites with ground floor commercial space for quaint shops.
